	STEP 1:	REQUEST OUR GENERAL INFORMATION PDF & SAMPLE PACK : Please email us to request our General Information pdf. Our pdf provides a lot of background information on the process of ordering and label features.   Remember to include a telephone number and postal address - we post out sample packs of fabrics (there is no charge for this) and this clarifys the type and size of label required.
	STEP 2:	Once samples have been received and you have made your fabric selection, please email us your label design(s). If you are not sure of the fabric type, please call us or send us a picture of your preferred label(s).   EMAIL YOUR LABEL DESIGN / LABEL REQUIREMENTS:     Logo Designs can be sent to us as: A professional drawing program file such as Illustrator or Photoshop or as a professional pdf from your designer. Please include font files. Made up as a mockup in Word, Publisher or similar (please pdf before you send and include font files). Designs can also be made in simple drawing programs such as Paint. We then use your design as a template. As a simple sketch or simply words to be printed. We will make up a couple of layouts for you to select from. Please include details such as the ideal dimensions of your label, orientation (portrait or landscape) and how you plan to attach label, ie folded, sewn in on top edge, etc. Please VIEW / TEST PRINT your label design on paper at the actual size you would like it to be printed BEFORE emailing. This is to ensure all text is readable at the dimension requested!   FONTS: If you require a particular font or fonts, please email us a copy of .ttf or .otf files required if you can (even when sending a professionally made design). There are hundreds of different fonts and versions of fonts on the Internet and often we need these to correctly load your pdf inside our label print program. If you are unsure of the font required, please tell us a style of font - ie bold, plain, curly, handwritting, scrolled, typewritter, all lower case, etc. We will then respond with some suggestions.   CARE & FIBRE CONTENT LABELS / WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: It is recommended that fibre content and care instructions be included in your labelling. This is a requirement for products sold in shops and craft stalls. For all washing instructions, we require the actual text to be sent to us. All washing instructions are 'made to order' and it's important that the instructions are relevant to your end product. Washing instruction text can be sent to us as just plain text. It does not have to be formatted ready to print.   COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: 'Country of Origin' should be stated somewhere on your labelling. This is a legal requirement when selling products to the public. Where the product has been imported, original 'Country of Origin' label should not be removed. Some customers choose wording such as "Made in India / Embroidered in New Zealand" to cover the work carried out in different countries.
	STEP 3:	APPROVAL & PRINTING: Depending on your request, a Guideline Quotation or scanned image of made up label & Quotation is emailed to you. At this stage, changes and alterations can be made and a second label may be made and changes made as requried. Up to 2 scans are included in our pricing. Once layout and quantity of labels is agreed, an Order Confirmation or Invoice is emailed back to you. Labels are printed on payment clearance Turnaround is generally 7-14 working days from payment clearance.
